So Jen, you’ve done a lot of videos. I know there’s a lot of times when you get the negative feedback and the positive feedback and I think a lot of times people don’t want to do the videos because of the negative feedback. So how have you been dealing with that?
Well, I guess, Pete went to this group, I can’t remember the name. Yes, Fall Out Boy. They have something that says, “As long as you’re talking about me.”
I guess you have to look at it that way because especially on Youtube, people can be really mean, so there is something to that. But I find that they’re really only being mean when you’ve got thousands of views, so I mean, it’s not gonna happen when you’ve just got five people. So I think you have to look at it as, well at least they’re talking about me. So as the the saying goes, “a hata’s gonna hate”. So you’ve really have to know who you are and be okay with that. You know you’re much safer if you want to start off with a community like Vimeo. The people there seem to be more about nurturing other people, but you’re not gonna get the drive by traffic of Youtube. But then sometimes you know, the drive by traffic, they don’t tell you exactly what you want to hear but just like anything, you know, the more you’re around something, you realize like, it’s not about you.
It’s superficial.
Exactly.
